LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SERVICES: The president of a billion-dollar company identified their vice president of U.S. marketing and sales as a high potential, and invited gothamCULTURE to coach this senior leader over a six-month period. The engagement began by establishing a rapport with the client, and then was followed by gauging his leadership behavior, perceived potential, and communication and interaction skills. Further, weaving stakeholder interviews and on-site observations into this assessment allowed gothamCULTURE to identify organization-wide opportunities and obstacles to the individual’s growth. Coaching sessions followed, from which an action plan was developed—emphasizing three categories of skills and behavior modification—as well as a plan for measuring and reinforcing personal improvement in the long term. The following year, the client was promoted to senior vice president of global marketing and sales. |
